Our Social and Environmental Activities
We aim to be as paperless office as possible. For instance providing all Premier Pack members with online documentation only. We encourage business women to hold meetings before or after the networking events to cut down on unnecessary journeys. We also hold on to business women's business literature to ensure that it is not wasted as can often be the case at networking events and expos. We like to use venues that also have a proactive attitude to being responsible business owners too, ensuring that we minimise the impact of our work on our local environment.
My passion in life is helping people, I know lots of people say that, but people that get to know me get to appreciate how much.
My core business is helping business women grow their businesses. But I feel strongly that as business owners we have higher profiles and should utilise that for the good of our local communities which includes local charities, social enterprises and Community projects. We open the doors of the BWN to the third sector with discounts and even a way we can hand them five pound notes for recommending the BWN. This year Farleighs Hospice asked us to get involved in a project that led to us raising over five thousand by producing a nude business women calendar in under 3 weeks. I have a way of motivating and inspiring people to success.
Every business owner has the opportunity to make a difference to their local community and it does not always have to be about putting your hand in your pocket. Many charities will tell you that they need help raising their profile and I am very good at that, including getting many business women in the media.
